These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AI-powered SMS text messaging and voice communication services provided by Oak AI, a service of Oak Services LLC ("Oak AI," "we," "us," or "our"), on behalf of local businesses we partner with ("Client Businesses"). By texting, calling, or otherwise interacting with an AI assistant operated by Oak AI, you agree to these Terms.
Oak AI provides automated SMS text messaging and voice call assistance on behalf of Client Businesses, including:
By texting a Client Business phone number connected to Oak AI, or by scanning an Oak AI QR code that initiates a text message, you consent to receive automated SMS messages from that Client Business via Oak AI's platform. This includes responses to your inquiries, appointment confirmations, reminders, and post-visit follow-up messages.
You may cancel SMS messages at any time. Text STOP to the business number to cancel. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and no further messages will be sent. To opt back in, text START to the same number.
If you need help or have questions about the SMS program, text HELP to the business number. You can also contact the Client Business directly at their listed phone number, or contact Oak AI at contact@oakai.net.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless carrier.
You provide consent to receive SMS messages from a Client Business in one of two ways:
In both cases, you initiate the conversation and consent is active, not presumed. No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Appointments scheduled through our AI assistant are subject to the individual Client Business's availability and policies. Oak AI facilitates scheduling but does not guarantee specific appointment times. Please confirm details directly with the Client Business for time-sensitive matters.
Information provided by the AI assistant — such as pricing, hours, or availability — is provided by the Client Business and may occasionally be out of date. Oak AI is not responsible for inaccuracies in Client Business information. Please confirm details directly with the Client Business when accuracy is critical.
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. No mobile opt-in information will be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, use, and your rights.

Oak AI reserves the right to block or restrict access to the service for users who violate these Terms.
Oak AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this service, including missed appointments, delayed messages, or communication errors, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Our total liability for any claim arising from this service shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the service in question.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
